We all know that Royal & Awesome trews are pretty eye catching! So it makes perfect sense that our jazzy golf trews & media pick up go hand in hand. Here are a couple of recent examples of when wearing Royal & Awesome helped articles hit the headlines.
Roger Hurcombe in The Sun:
Roger is an Awesome guy, with an Awesome dress sense & an Awesome sense of humour!
A couple of days before playing in the 2015 British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall, Roger had his new “One foot in the grave” tattoo finished. When he teamed his new tattoo up with a pair of funky of Par-tee shorts & matching Par-tee flat cap an article in one of the UK’s major tabloids was just around the corner. Roger also played extremely well at the Par 3 Champs so maybe the Awesomes do have good luck qualities as well…
The Bin Man!
We claim to be the perfect golfing attire for the pars & the bars & this chap tested our ‘bars’ credentials to the fullest!
After drinking more than a dozen cans of beer on a boozy charity day at the golf course, ‘Bin Man’ got his bonnet stuck in a bin whilst pretending to throw away his clubs at the end of the 24-hour event.
As all good friends do, they managed to get a load of photos, videos & laughs in before the help eventually came in the form of a huge tub of vaseline!
Check out the video below to hear exactly what went on from the main man himself:
‘Bin Man’, we love you!
Putting the ‘Royal’ into Royal & Awesome…
Ex-England & British & Irish Lions rugby legend, Mike Tindall, is known to love a bit of Royal & Awesome gear. Top guy.
You might not know that Mike Tindall is married to Zara Phillips who is currently 16th in line to the British throne. This makes our marketing guys really excited as they can come up with some ‘pun-believable’ gags about getting a Royal into Royal & Awesome, wearing King of Diamonds etc… They make themselves laugh anyway!
He wore the aptly named King of Diamonds golf trews to his charity golf event in 2015 & looked equally as Awesome in a pair of our funky Ka-Booms in 2014:
Please accept our sincere apologies for the dodgy carpet shown in the photo above.
He got coverage in The Sun, The Daily Mail, Hello! Magazine… (well, basically everything!) & we will admit he is a well known celeb but we reckon our trews definitely helped with the pick up.
